Fairy Tales

We come back to the magic of The Sleeping Beauty to present to you two more pas de deux from the 3rd act in which all the fairy tale characters are invited to celebrate the wedding of the princess Aurora and prince Desiré.

One of them is the Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf which will be danced by Paula Rezende and Fabio Adorisio. The other one is the White Cat and the Puss in Boots interpreted by Elisa Ghisalberti and Louis Stiens.

Paula Rezende

She was born in Vila Velha, Brazil, and received her first ballet classes at the

Escola Dançar in 2001. Later she went to the Ballet School of the Balé da Ilha in her home town before she went to the John Cranko Schools in Stuttgart in 2010 where she graduated in 2013. During her time at the school she already danced in several productions of the Stuttgart Ballet in the Corps de ballet. In the season 13/14 she became a member of the Stuttgart Ballet.

Fabio Adorisio

He was born in Cirie, Italy. He began his dance training at the private school Academia Danza Spettacolo in Ivre. From 2009 to 2011, he attended the ballet school of the Balletto di Toscana in Florence before completing his studies from 2011 to 2013 at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart from which he graduated in 2013. In the season 13/14 he joined the Stuttgart Ballet. With the beginning of the 18-19 season he was promoted to Demi Soloist.

Monika M. Kubiak

Elisa Ghisalberti

She was born in Bergamo, Italy. She received her first ballet lessons at the Ballet School of the Scala in Milan in 2005. After one year at the Ballet Studio in Bergamo she went to the John Cranko School in Stuttgart in 2009 where she graduated in 2013. During her last year at the school she already danced in several productions of the Stuttgart Ballet in the Corps de ballet. In the season 13/14 she became an apprentice with the Stuttgart Ballet, one season later she was taken into the Corps de ballet.

We are approaching the day of the show and you have seen almost all the dancers involved in the virtual gala. In the next post we will introduce you to the last group of people that will perform for the children of Kibera. This last week will be full of rehearsals to get everything set and ready for the big day. Everyone is very excited and we hope that it will be a very successful event.
